When purchasing a new home, our realtor offered a home to us that required a new roof, a new central AC system and the electrical panel to be replaced. The total amount to fix these problems was well over 25,000 dollars. Who the heck does this. We were desperate to purchase a home so we bought it anyway when in hindsight, I should have passed on it.
