I would not recommend anyone to rent a house through Mark Thomas Properties. My husband and I lived in one of their properties for a year. We received an email stating we have 60 days to state if we were moving out. Although, the email was not sent at 60 days, they emailed me only 30 days before my lease ended. They also raised the rent and failed to mention it in the email. I reached out and told them their mistake and how they failed to mention a very important aspect, that rent was being raised. Not trustworthy. Ghosted me. Called about a rental property I saw on realtor.com and miraculously, someone answered. Nice guy answered all my questions, let me know no one had applied so I was a shoo-in to get the place if I apply and if everything worked out. I was ecstatic and felt SO lucky! Paid the steep $90 application fee (I have almost perfect credit and make well above what’s needed, no evictions, etc) the same day I told him I would, after the phone call.
