4 different family members and all agree that you should find another practice. He is good at wanting to stick a tube in you but not for follow up care. He doesn’t listen and doesn’t communicate effectively. Rx’s left for weeks without his signature . Save yourself
A dedicated professional with a solid medical background from CMU-UCLA, Japan and Shenyang China. Explained everything, made certain I understood it and was comfortable with the process and procedure. Follow up afterwards was concise and left no questions unanswered. He was a warm person to talk to, but then his whole staff; Rob, Daffney and Kristen, were warm, friendly but very professional people. I'll go back again unhesitatingly if I live long enough or need his medical advice in the future.
I have always taken care of my health. I have never had a GI issue in my life until about six months ago. I have seen Dr. Hou twice. Both times I felt rushed and he didn't really listen. It is difficult to understand his English (I used to live in NYC...I love culture). Today my appointment was at 2:00. Saw me at 2:50. I was in my car at 3:00. He did not want to discuss or explain anything satisfactorily. I will be finding a new doctor. That is unacceptable in my book!
