Grew up near the Rochester area and my grandmother worked in the Newark, NY bakery for several years. Jamestown Wegmans is a very nice store with a wide variety of foods. My daughter and i spend time in the cafe quite a bit when we are hungry, or when the weather is bad and we just want something to drink or snack on. My one tiny complaint is the food in the cafe hot bar is sometimes lacking or sits for too long.
I hadn't been there in over 9 years. Tried to get a shoppers card but couldn't get one for that day's visit. One would be mailed to me but I was told I could use my phone number. My phone number wasn't activated yet by the time I checked out. Also, first time using WIC here in NY and they don't seem very WIC friendly. They didn't carry the correct bread allowed by WIC.
