When I go to Wegmans (in Fredericksburg, Va), it's usually to go grab four or five items. I just discovered Wegmans has done away with the portable blue baskets that you could carry and thus forcing the shopper to get a larger cart to wheel around the store. I find this incredibly inconvenient, and will probably do my "quick-run" shopping visits elsewhere. Generally I like Wegmans (staff, store lay-out, selection, etc.), but not enough to wheel a large cart around for a few items. If I can get those items elsewhere (and I us... read more

RecommendedToday as I left the store there was an employee very carefully sanitizing each register and its aisle contents! I thanked her because i haven't seen any other stores doing this, the staff here is always smiling and friendly and if you cant find what you need, they all go out of their way to find what your looking for!
