I could be happier with the results of my cataract surgery in Dec. of 2023. The results have allowed me to no longer wear glasses. I am truly amazed at how well I can see now. The surgery on each eye went well with very minimal discomfort. Dr. Weeks was very patient and explained everything very clearly to me.
Dr Weeks is a miracle worker. I have nothing but praise and respect for him.
I dislike, making an appointment with the front desk, because even just making the appointment and confirming the appointment for a certain day doesn’t make a difference. I called in about a month ago, to see if I could get in earlier than 26 April of 2023, and she made the appointment for 17 April of 2023, and I called this morning to confirm, and she said no he’s in surgeries today, and it is for the 26th at 3:30 PM. He doesn’t remember who you are or seem to know ANYTHING about you or your history. I’’ not sure he listens. Focused on himself but not unfriendly. Cataract surgery went well but one eye wasn’t left as a “reading” eye as promised but also not perfect at distance either. Other eye great. I would prefer BETTER Dr. but haven’t found one locally.
Dr. weeks did an excellent job on my cataract surgery. I can see better now than I ever have been able to . I would definitely recommend him to anyone .
This review is about the practice, not the doctors. When I had my first appointment, the office was empty except for me. One other patient came in; even then, I waited about 15-20 minutes to be seen. Afterwards, I scheduled a follow-up appointment and the front desk staff member over-charged me for my copay, even though I told her my copay was lower. I was 20 minutes late for my follow-up appt and they refused to see me, even though there were no other patients and it was well before closing.
After being diagnosed with cataracts, Dr. Weeks thoroughly explained the surgery procedure to me. I had my left eye done 2 days ago and it went exactly as explained. When I took the patch off yesterday, I was totally amazed at the result. I have worn reading glasses for over 25 years and now I am typing this without them. And this is after having only one eye done. I can't wait to have the other one done. I can't express my gratitude enough to Dr. Weeks and his staff for their personal service.
My mom is 83 years old and had cataract surgery on both eyes - two weeks apart. Both surgeries were a success. Everything was thoroughly explained. Staff was professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Weeks.
Had a small problem that this doctor turned into a bigger one - thought I was going to lose my eye. Had to go to other ophthalmologist in Auburn to fix. Stay away.
