To be honest, my wife and I don’t really like hotels. We find them to be big, loud and impersonal. We prefer Airbnbs. That being said, the Weekapaug Inn is the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful, the grounds are beautiful. It’s like being in a large home. The bar and restaurant are fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful, without being overbearing or obsequious. And, most importantly, it has a totally relaxed vibe. Not the least bit snobby or uptight. The staff are absolutely fantastic and the property is stunning. To our (pleasant) surprise the resort is incredibly family friendly. Our 16 month old loved the pool and the multiple fairy houses stationed around the property. There were some very personal touches upon check-in that made the stay extra special. This will be a new tradition for our family every summer.
I stayed at the inn while photographing a wedding for my client this summer. I got to experience the inn as a guest and also as a vendor working with their team and I was so impressed on both counts! The room and staff were so accommodating and their stocked pantry came in handy after a long day of photographing. I also saw how on top of everything they were with the wedding and my clients. Staying here was a birthday present. It is beautiful the staff was great. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. I was treated like royalty. I hope to visit again
