As usual, Dr. Shackelton was pleasant, answered all my questions about taking care of my teeth, and even worked with me to make sure my care corresponded to what my insurance will cover, waiting on an X-ray so I don't have to pay out of pocket (at my request). The hygienist was also pleasant and helpful. This office provides a great blend of the latest technology and research-based dental care with traditional common sense. Thanks!
I have never liked going to the dentist, but Dr. Shackelton and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make patients comfortable in the office while providing quality care.
I wanted to take a minute to express my appreciation for the quality of service I received at Wedgewood Dental Center. The initial greeting at the door was quick and she already knew my name. I waited less than 5 minutes before receiving service. The hygieniest was very friendly, and did a great job cleaning and inspecting my teeth. I am always very happy to visit Dr. Emily Shackelton and her wonderful team. They do a wonderful job every step of the way. My two kids also go here and love it.
I arrived somewhat anxious but was calmed by a hygenist with a great chair-side manner. Both she and Dr. Shackelton were gentle but also efficient and professional.
The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed, the staff is very friendly and competant, and the dentist is great. They are super organized and efficient, and take great care of my teeth!

I had an appointment yesterday and needed 2 of my teeth filled. I am so afraid of getting the needle but Dr. Shackelton and her assistant were so kind and gentle with me. Thoughout my appointment they were very reassuuring during the whole procedure. I would recommend Dr. Shackelton to anyone looking for a new dentist. Also, I have a great hygienist!
