saved our maids dresses Great people! I ordered my gown from Wedding Plantation but I let my maids purchase dresses wherever they wanted as long as they were the right color...the dresses were such a MESS. Luckily, they were able to let them out and take care of my maids and everything worked out. THANK YOU SO MUCH HELEN!
RUDE! I am one out of 10 bridesmaids for a wedding in Louisiana. The bride has chosen 4 different dresses and we are to chose the dress that fits us best. UNprofessional I have been trying to stay way ahead of the wedding planning game so that the stress of full-time work, full-time school AND wedding planning doesn't kill me. I ordered my dress a full year before my wedding date, put down half of the cost of the dress and was given an estimated ship date. I never heard anything else from WP so I called on the day that my dress way set to ship. Tuxedos and Bridesmaids My husband and I got our tuxedos from the Wedding Plantation and they were really affordable. We were originally going to go with Mens Wearhouse, but I had ordered the bridesmaids dresses from the plantation and they we're able to match the color. The guys and girls looked great!
Dress Too Large, Poor Customer Service I ordered a bridesmaid dress from the Wedding Plantation for my brother's wedding based on their recommendation for sizing. Although I wear a size 10 and my measurements fell between a 16 and an 18, they recommended I get an 18. When the dress came, it was so large, it literally fell to the floor. the total package experience it was the best experience ever the dresses were ready in plenty of time and jen was a great help in all aspecs of getting the right tuxes and dresses.. a little planning on our part and alot of help from them made for a great wedding day
Unique! The Wedding Plantation was such a unique shop! Its in an old mansion outside of downtown.They have so many amazing dresses and they were so relaxed, they didn't pressure us at all. The girl who helped us was very knowledgable and friendly. Thumbs Up!!
Stay Far Far Away from The Wedding Plantation An October 25, 2008 wedding was almost ruined because of the inept service of the Wedding Plantation where all of the tuxes were rented. At a cost of about $100 each (with the groom's free), we had a total of 7 tuxes and everyone of them had a problem. 2 left shoes, pants incorrectly altered, wrong size coats and vests, pants with holes, shoes with the soles falling off. No Dress Delivered We ordered my Wedding dress in June 2006 for my May 2007 wedding. Also putting down half of the cost of the dress $700.00 so that the order could be placed. It is now April 2007 no dress. Shop has told us they will not refund the money. Beware of this shop, brides you will not get your dress.
