Webster First bought out my local credit union and immediately the level of customer service plummeted. Very few local branches and shared banking is complicated and unreliable. They do not care about their customers. What a shame.
Masters of red tape and laziness. I came to deposit a check from an extra rent payment, which my credit union said I could deposit through their partners including Webster First FCU. Their previous partner who was closer to my work would call to get my account number and have no issues doing something like this. The lazy clerk would not look it up and pretended that she couldn't do exactly what other partner branches have done.
