I’ve been a member for almost thirty years. They have a great variety of fruits and vegetables (organic and non organic.) Prices are a little higher than chain grocery stores and parking is quite limited.
A small whole foods type store. This co-op allows members & non- members to shop at any of its 4 locations. Members get a small discount off the price of the goods. Some prepared foods are also available. Parking at the Mt Airy store can be difficult (on street only) but the other locations do have parking lots.
On different occasions, I’ve experienced suboptimal customer service at this location. To be clear, this has not been every visit, but my experience today while purchasing a bouquet of flowers was disappointing enough to share. The flower bin displayed bouquets priced at $5.99, but when mine rang up at the register, it came up as $9.99. I politely mentioned that the posted price said $5.99. They have the best olives! This is a fun store to browse and discover amazing food. A wonderful small food shop that has fresh delicious food.
