If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When we received a gift card for ‘We Rock the Spectrum’ we were very excited to bring my 4 year old autistic daughter to a place that (we thought) was designed to meet her needs. It was very expensive at $50 for my 2 children but we thought it would be worth it to go to a place where my daughter felt comfortable and safe. We couldn’t have been more wrong! This is our kids’ favourite place to visit. The staff are always incredibly kind and accommodating, and there’s such a great variety of activities for the kids. It’s honestly a breath of fresh air to go somewhere that feels calm and not overly stimulating.
First time with myself and my almost 2 year old. We had a great time and he loved all of the different activities. Overall a great way to spend a morning/afternoon, and there are definitely a few things that can be improved. We had an amazing time today My son — who has autism — felt completely comfortable and happy the entire visit. Seeing him play freely with the other kids honestly meant the world to me The place has everything you need and more An indoor playground A section for toys and dress-up A quiet room for reading or just relaxing And another room for painting, drawing, and coloring It’s such a warm, welcoming environment for every child.
