As a long term resident of Northcote I have been visiting this amazing store for years. The most incredible collection of such unique and beautiful things. And Kate who runs this emporium of fabulousness is just adorable. Funny, friendly and will bend over backwards to help select the most stunning pieces either for myself or something special and truly out of the ordinary for a special gift. Just cannot rate this gorgeous shop and this gorgeous woman highly enough. Northcote is blessed to have this place in its midst.
Rang the store about a framed print I'd seen in the window - the person on the phone was genuinely very lovely and helpful, and let me know more stock would be coming in. When I came back a few weeks later with my sister, I spotted the same print on the wall and took a photo (a reproduction print, not an original) to share with my family for my Christmas wishlist. A nice store but not worth the blunt and abrasive service. There is no sign indicating not to take photos but I was more than happy to put my phone away when told; however we were not treated with kindness after this despite being interested in several pieces. Everyone in the store was approached and chatted to except us, including those who entered after us. I visited this fabulous store for the first time yesterday. It is an absolutely gorgeous store, made for everyone who is rebelling against the “minimalist” approach to home decorating. Kate, the owner, is so warm and friendly. I’m definitely going to become a regular.
Amazing store. Incredible stock and the one off pieces are so devine. !! Looking for a special something -this is the spot!!!!
