Our dog unexpectedly passed and we are from Calgary, so not familiar with Saskatoon. We called the hospital and they immediately helped us. They were compassionate, let us spend as much time with Stevie as we needed and offered counseling. They assisted with cremation and the urn is perfect. Thank you to the team at the hospital.
Sadly I didn't want to even give it a star. Now I'll say I had some good experiences here but the Major two issues I had here I can't get by I had a incident about 2 years ago and another one about 2 weeks ago and a week and a half ago. I will never sadly go back here I'll drive to another city if I need any of my animals to get extra testing done. There needs to be major changes here. On two occassions, the WCVM Small Animal Clinic saved our dog. The first instance was several years ago when he was undergoing surgery at a small rural clinic and took a turn for the worse. The vet and tech rushed him to the city where a veterinarian professor quickly identified the issue and took decisive action to save him. More recently, our dog suffered a twisted stomach. Today marks three months since I lost my beloved dog, Thor, to Burkitt B-cell lymphoma, an extremely rare and aggressive cancer. I would like to sincerely thank the entire oncology team at the Small Animal Clinic for the exceptional care they gave him. Throughout his treatment, Thor received several chemotherapy protocols.
