We tried couples therapy with her a few years ago and we did not like. We specifically chose her for Christian counseling which we did not exactly get, but the issue wasn’t religion, it was her approach. She focused almost entirely on my husband, leaving me out most times, and he felt talked down to. We clearly asked from the start that all scheduling and communication go to me, since I managed our appointments.
