We have brought my mom to the emergency room on several occasions. Don't expect to be seen by a doctor if you come in on the weekend. This place is way understaffed and the wait times are ridiculous. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They pass the blame down the line. Even when you get a response from the review, it's generic!
I do not recommend coming to this hospital. The wait time is not equitable in the ER and the front desk staff person was beyond nasty. “They will get you a room when they get you a room!”
I’m not usually one to give one star. Long story short: pick another practice (not Luminis OBGYN in Pasadena) if you’re having a baby. Dr. Cooper disappeared 8 hours while I was in active labor leaving me with the ^inexperienced residents at the hospital^. They had told me I was progressing (saying I was 8 cm dilated—I never made it past 7 cm!) so I kept on going for 36 HOURS! If you are sick or in need of a hospital. Go ANYWHERE ELSE. Luminis has destroyed this hospital. 5 hours in the er waiting room coughing up blood, and we drove home. From the nasty wheelchair people to chair transport guy to the substandard care, it’s better off if you just die. Or make the right decision and go to Fairfax or a hospital that has compassion and knows how to care for people. Otherwise you will see most of the staff with their face in their phones.
