As a 15-year-old with a background in foster care, inpatient hospitals, and therapy, I know professional care. Wayside CBATT is the worst, most traumatic environment I have ever experienced. My fears were validated within 10 minutes of arrival. ADMISSIONS & INCOMPETENCE: During intake, I asked if the nurse could have the Benadryl and melatonin I was previously prescribed for sleep. As a mom to mom - do not think it will help your child, if anything- it will make your child worse. Absolutely inexperienced support, bad behavior was NOT discouraged. Teen came out worse than came in. I would not post it if I didn't want to help you - mom. Only Jesus can help your child and He helped my child! This place was not even a safe place not to mention it was VERY DAMAGING to my child. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING UP EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF YOU HORRIBLE RESIDENTIAL UNITS DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE WE DONT GET HELP WE GET WORSE TRUST ME ! I will never forget my time in this place I’m so glad I can say this message freely now do not send your kids with mental health issues here get real help for them locking us up will never ever ever help! DO NOT SEND YOYR CHILD HERE. i was at the Framingham location about 2 years ago, there were mice, never food, disgusting areas and staff just sat on their phones, talked about clients behind their backs, or were screaming at you. i truly feel like this place traumatized me. and if you talked back, you either got sent to your room not allowed to leave for days on end, or put in the seclusion room, never met with my therapist and when i did got nothing from it. the staff felt too comfortable screaming in our faces. abuse of po... read more
