taking cut up tree roots and limbs, shoving them in a hole, and laying sod on top is not right.

Paid a few grand for this sod from wayside. Most of it is dead and it is infested with weeds. There is even garlic growing out of this sod (toxic to my dogs). Compare to the rest of the other grass towards the front that is doing quite well and weed free. Take your money elsewhere.
