I was very curious about this place. Drive by often and it looks like a dive bar from the outside. When we entered the bar is nice. The dining areas are quite basic. The customers seemed to be all locals as if everyone knew each other. It was Friday so we ordered the baked and Fried cod. Both decent. Surprised with fresh baked bread. When I looked up the Wayside Inn, it was described as a “hidden gem,” and that is so true! From the friendly staff to the welcoming atmosphere, I had such a great experience. The portions were generous, and I loved how much of the food tasted fresh and homemade. The freshly baked bread was so good that I actually took the last of it home!
