The last review is very accurate. This company does not put your invoice on the patient portal for you to review. They bill your psychiatric appointments as therapy and psychiatrist as well and even put in small print to not book Psychiatric and therapy appointments same day so they can bill you for therapy twice. They justify this by saying your psychiatrist gave you a one sentence advice so they can bill you for therapy services. It's hard to get in touch with the manager Mary. It’s really quite astounding that a doctor can enter a diagnosis code into a computer and change the trajectory of your entire life, and then not even remember that they did that or remember that they even met you when you see them again. I am so upset with the mental health system at this point. People, be so aware when you bring your child to a psychiatrist on what you BOTH are in for. That record may follow them forever. Unprofessional! Made an in person appointment, my first ever appointment, and the doctor wasn't even in the office.

I have had good experiences with Dr. Ticknor. I have not had good experiences with the billing department, however. Jodi is in the habit of billing what she thinks you owe before running it through insurance properly. As a result, she has twice now in 6 months charged me my full deductible, without warning, when it was not appropriate. This has caused me significant anxiety and stress; Jodi clearly does not understand what it's like to live paycheck-to-paycheck.
