Like a few others on here, I too have had a terrible experience with Waypoint, from an investor perspective. If anyone else is considering a class action lawsuit against Waypoint regarding their recent sale of their Student Housing portfolio, please feel free to reach out to me directly at fred.sheriff@gmail.com.
I would give Waypoint Residential management a zero if I could. As an investor, their financial reporting and transparency is very poor. Investment decisions made to favor the company over initial investors. As a well versed investor in start-up, private placement, private equity and public investments, I would seek investments elsewhere as a recommendation.
