I am an ex-patient by choice and I would NEVER recommend Dr. Mark Waynik to anyone.
I recommend Dr Waynik all the time to friends. I think he's a great doctor, he's always ready to listen, he's easy to get in touch with, and he wants to help. He is very open to using newer medicine, and I think that's a good thing.
He seemed more interested in writing in my file than listening to me when I tried to discuss issues going on in my life. He also prescribed twice the amount of dosage legally allowed of Ambien without regard to my safety. His only dialogue with me every 3 months was to say, you look good, even though I was rapidly losing weight to substance abuse. He diagnosed me as bipolar but then we never discussed it during sessions.
