I was told by Dr. Nguyen that a SI Joint Fusion would help me with my pain, this was the end of February. I have called to find out if the insurance company has approved or denied and I couldn't get anyone to return my calls. I tried again this week and was told the scheduler, Mindy, was only up to March with these types of calls to insurance companies. February is before March, so not sure what the problem is. If she is that backed up they should hire help or keep loosing patients!
Mindy from authorizations submitted wrong codes to insurance and procedure was canceled. He was apathetic about the whole thing.
Went to see Dr Wayne last Monday ref really bad lower back pain 8+ normal pain first visit I an now about 3 or 4 and doing great!!!
I'm an active individual, and after excessive effort put into some yard work, I was experiencing sharp neck pains that weren't going away. I booked an appointment with Dr. Nguyen at SIMED pain management. We tried conservative treatment, and then progressed to an injection. He heard my concerns, was compassionate, evaluated me at every step, and had my confidence at every visit.
Excellent Dr., not only was he exceptional with my first experience but he has an outstanding bed side manner! Dr. Nguyen was amazing, I would recommend him to everyone.
Wait, wait and more wait. He shows up late so his backlog begins. Not a real friendly environment. These pain injections seem not to make a difference. Has his nurses do most of his talking for him. Sign-out desk can be a real adventure with this guy. His professionalism is somewhat shaky at best. Better to go to Gainesville and find a more qualified pain specialist.
Absolute clown!! Doesn’t listen to patient, doesn’t look at MRI doesn’t care a joke I moved to dr valentine in Gainsville what a difference he made Nguyen look like a amateur. .
