In my experience, Dr. Berryhill is not Veteran friendly. His staff was pleasant. Luckily for me, the people he referred me to at Mercy Oncology were incredible.
Dr Berryhill had no idea why I was even seeing him. He hadn't even consulted my information until he walked in the room. His PA was actually much more helpful the one time I saw him. But Dr. Berryhill was fairly unhelpful. He essentially said he had no idea what's wrong and offered to refer me to someone else. He suggested meditation and journaling for my ear pain. I saw Dr Berryhill with a referral. I had no hearing problems, but had a severe case of Ramsey-Hunt (shingles in ear). Though my ear was swollen closed & had oozing blisters, I was told that I could not be seen by Dr until a complete hearing test was performed. I could not afford copay for 2 separate visits at one time. Now, a year & 1/2 later, I have hearing loss in the effected ear. Gee, thanks.
I started seeing Dr. Berryhill a few years back with hearing loss. After running a lot of hearing tests and scans he was able to diagnose my condition and fix it to the best of his ability. The care that I got from him and the staff was incredible! Thanks to doctor berryhill I can hear again. I can't express how great doctor Berryhill is! Hands down the best ENT around. Thanks again to doctor Berryhill and his staff for the care and support.
