Ranger Matt was an awesome desert tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and super friendly. He is an old time historian and gentleman. Wife and I totally enjoyed the tour especially the rattlesnake and cactus encounters! �

We were extremely fortunate to meet "Steel" Matt seven years ago when he took our entire family out to the wild west. It was such a remarkable experience. We all remember the unbelievable sites of the Tonto Forest. Matt shared with us so many interesting facts about the desert and nature. Matt took us on an amazing adventure. Our journey was one that was very personal, and he made it so special!! He managed to entertain,educate and still have an incredible amount of compassion and respect for why we were there that day. It is one that I will never forget for more reasons than I can explain.
