Waxman Candles originated from a $5 paraffin wax hobby kit ordered by owner Bob Werts in 1969. Until the early 2000's soy wax was not readily available on the market, therefore Bob grew his business solely on his knowledge of and experience with paraffin (petroleum) based wax. Our paraffin is a U.S.A. made, highly refined, food grade wax. This means a high percentage of oil is removed during the refining process which results in a cleaner burning candle. I love Waxman!!! I am from Lawrence but live in Minnesota. Whenever I go back to visit my first stop in downtown Lawrence is Waxman. With so many fragrances to choose from I usually go home with 5 to 6 dz. My favorite is leather. I don't even have to burn the candles to have my home smelling wonderful. You can also call & order....they ship them out in just a couple of days. I will only purchase candles from Waxman.
I love Waxman Candles! The quality is unequaled and the variety of styles and fragrances is incredible. We love the holiday and seasonally themed candles and the patchouli votives are addictive. The gift boxes make affordable and special gifts for any occasion.
