I had such an amazing experience at Waxing The City for brow waxing and a Brazilian! As someone who is more plus-sized, I was really nervous about being comfortable and judged, but Serenity was incredible! She was so attentive and comforting from the moment I walked in. She immediately put me at ease and assured me I could ask to stop at any time if it got to be too much. My favorite place for waxing in Albuquerque. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Samantha is fantastic and made me feel so comfortable.
I’m a bigger girl and I don’t have a “normal”, skinny lady looking area. Having said that, I did research because I want my first visit to really catch me, or tell me to stay away. I read reviews where some people were upset about this location. I would read them and think, “hmm”. I went in for my first appointment. It’s BUSY. They keep to their schedule.
