Wawanesa's AM Best rating dropped from A+ to C during the pandemic, and I was removed because my lender required a B+ or higher—C was too low. As a result, I lost my car and home coverage. When I tried to return after a year, they wouldn’t reinstate my 6-year-old account and treated me like a new customer with much higher prices and extreme requirements, including submitting photos of my home.
