We requested ocean view and rooms next to each other as I help with my elderly in laws... we got what we asked for. They have an elevator wick was very very helpful. Beds we very comfortable, rooms were clean. Coffee pots, microwave, and a small fridge. service for your room was apon request. I called 2 other hotels which wouldn't guarantee me the rooms I requested... Even bottom floor was not guaranteed. So thank you Waves, for making a great stay for us! We will use you again.
This was the most beautiful and hospitable place we stopped on our trip. Of course the employees were awesome but so were the locals. From the view to calm setting this was an amazing place to stay and recommend this in to everyone!!! This place made our trip!!!
We decided to get away for a day because the rates we're good and they serve breakfast and have a wonderful swimming pool and they are close to the beach. Some of the rooms have a view of the ocean which is lovely just sit and stare at the waves. We stayed on the night of the 27th and the lady that worked then was very helpful to us very considerate and very friendly. Staff was awesome. Friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice a spacious. Water pressure was great. Lighting options and bed great. Could see and hear the ocean. Beach access close and easy shopping near by. Minutes away from aquarium and wax museums. We had a great time away and relaxed. We stayed at Waves Hotel in Newport, Oregon, and had an extremely disturbing experience that completely violated our privacy and sense of security. Over an hour before checkout time, housekeeping unlocked and entered our room without knocking while my wife and I were both getting out of the shower completely naked. This was not a quick accidental tap at the door — someone physically entered an occupied room with no warning whatsoever.
