It's a pet friendly hotel but you can't leave your dogs in their kennel and leave the room, to go to tourist activities or dinner . It was a real pain in the ass last minute trying to figure out what to do with the dogs. 200$ fine if dogs are barking. Our don't bark thank God. Other than that the lighting on the stair was out and very dark. Almost tripped everytime
The Waves Hotel is ideally located in the Nye Beach neighborhood which has very good restaurants of varied styles, cafes (including vegan options at Ultralife) and direct access to a vast and beautiful beach. The hotel is on the street closest to the Ocean, has rooms with varied views including many ocean view ones. The staff is very kind especially the lady that I was lucky to interact with the most who helped me feel at home here in my stay which was 2 weeks long. We rated five stars because (while this isn't a "five star hotel") it is absolutely five stars for an afforable crash at the end of the day type hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean the staff was very helpful and friendly with great local recommendations. We were able to bring our dog and they had a good area for him to take him out as needed. The pool was nice, the hottub was extra hot, and the sauna got VERY hot which we were excited about. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a great experience staying at the Waves Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff was so kind and accommodating, and you could really tell they care about making their guests feel at home.
