Pretty much everything you've read is true. The woman working there is super friendly and awesome. Room was clean but the rooms are nothing to write home about. They could use some maintenance. The AC only blew room temp air in the summer and the toilet seat is super loose. Thin towels in the bathroom and liquid dial soap. Pet friendly. Loved the room and the king bed. Very clean, next to an overlook of the beach.
So... the staff were amazing and helpful. We were disappointed with the sauna and hot tub timers not functioning, so no jets and no sauna. If you stay on the lower level you will hear everything from above.
Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again. Our room door kept opening, They did fix it, but that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. There was a hole in the wall stuffed with toilet paper, the room wasn’t very clean, and we even found someone else’s hairbrush next to our bed. The breakfast selection was very limited, but the coffee was good at least.
We had the king room on the corner with limited beach view - but really it was fantastic beach view! We also watched sunset with lawn chairs and wine to the overlook steps away from our room. Casey in the office was so nice and efficient. Continental breakfast was great with waffles, cereals, yogurt, etc. Very comfy and the pool/hot tub was a wonderful addition to our 2-night stay.
