RecommendedThe management is absolutely amazing. By far the best experiences I've had in dealing with management compared to the other properties I lived at, and dealing with their management. Can't beat the price for the location either. I give them 5 stars
RecommendedProperty management can unfortunately be a contentious business. However, from my first-hand experience, American Realty always does their best to be fair in every situation. My friends and I recently moved into a like-new fully renovated house. We were actually able to move in a month early because of all the hard work American Realty did in preparing the house. I have lived at Hillside Village for almost 3 and a half years now and I love the building, the unit, the staff, and not to mention great internet! I don't ever feel like I am a child having to bow down to a landlord or lease, and I actually have had a great relationship with the staff since being here. I get peace of mind and privacy, and I've never had even the slightest frustration with the staff/operations. I live in Renaissance. The apartment looks nice but its really not. The doors are cheap and our bathroom door doesn't even close. We've only lived here for 5 months and all we do is shower and the bathtub is cracked already. We moved in in May and we didnt have an AC unit. When we called they said "Oh I thought you did have one." Now its October and our heat doesn't work. I hate it here and would not reccomend it. The apartment is not worth what im paying for it
Horrible customer service and they treat tenants as though they are not trustworthy. The owner of our rental property was kind and fair and even waived some ridiculous fees this company put on our damages list, but their two Curtis Morgan clearly did not feel the same way about treating tenants with respect. Please do not use this company, they are on it solely for the dollar and they are definitely not interested in helping the tenants.
They give incentives for their tenants to write good reviews. Likely they are under 3.6 stars in reality (the rating at the writing of this review). Our rent jumped $500 in one year, and when we decided not to resign the lease they showed our house multiple times a day, often on Weekends, and in the evening. Invasion of tenant privacy is what it felt like. When we expressed concerns, they 'politely' ignored our request. Left the lights on and the doors unlocked after showings.
