I was driving home late one night on the West Shore, when a deer ran in front of me on the highway and I wrecked the front of my 2010 Cadillac SRX. After being towed off the highway I called Anthony and Jay at Wave street Auto Body. I had my car dropped off at their shop, and the next day Anthony arranged for me to be picked up at my house and brought to the shop where together we called my insurance company and reported the claim. I recently had an accident with my 2008 Dodge Charger. I contacted Anthony at Wave Street Auto Body and he immediately sent a tow truck that had me towed to the shop. Once therehe helped me contact my insurance company and file a claim, he also set me up with a rental car from Enterprise. He made the whole process painless and easy. 12 days later I picked up my car at Wave Street and she is good as new. Thank you Anthony and the crew at Wave Street Auto Body.
Old Fashion Customer Service – Normally I never publisize my comments but, in this situation I found it nessecary to let people know that this is the best body shop to go to. I have had accidents before and gone else where but wave street auto body is the best from start to finish. When I dropped off my car I received a ride to the ferry to get to work and then was picked up when my car was completed. No one else ever offered me this service besdies the exceptional work performed on my car. I will never go anywhere else.
Fabulous Body Shop – Don't know who would write anything bad about this shop except maybe previous employees upset they were let go. I brought my car in after being hit in rear. The manager, Jay, was nothing but accommodating. My car was repaired quickly and efficiently. It actually looked like it just came out of the showroom. They even detailed the interior for free. I would definitely go back here and am going to recommend to family and friends who need repairs done.
JUMP OFF A BRIDGE – I BROUGHT MY IN A FEW MONTHS BACK AND I REALLY GOT THE LEG FROM THIS PLACE ... FIRST OFF THE OWNER LOOKS TO ME LIKE HE NEEDS TO BE IN DRUG REHAB AND THE OVERSIZED MAN THAT RUNS THE PLACE NEEDS TO GET OFF HIS A$$ AND WALK MORE OFTEN WELL I'LL GET TO THE POINT. THE BODY WORK WAS HORRIBLE I HAVE BODY FILLER FALLING OFF MY CAR THEY DRILLED HOLES IN MY QUARTER PANEL PUT ABOUT 2 BUCKETS OF BONDO ON AND SAID IT WAS GOOD TO GO... awesome experiences – i brought my car in the other day for rear end damage i was very upset ( since i was just in an accident ) once i got there i spoke with the owner ,who came out rite away to look at my car and calmed me down by letting me know my car would be good as new in 3 days ..... then brought me inside the office and bought me a cup of coffee and made me feel much better ! and 3 days my car was 100% i had a great experience and would bring my car back also i will also tell all my family and friends
The owner is a racist! – i went to pick up my boyfriend's car the other night and I overheard the owner (at least thats what the other workers said) talking with one of his mechanics, smoking cigars and talking about a customer that 'stiffed him'. He called him a 'dirty, stinking N**GER'. I looked at him and let him know that that is a horrible word and he should be ashamed of himself. What a joke.... – This guy seems to care more about his 'cigars' than being a good business man. Came to drop my car off for a cracked bumper and he came to greet me with slurred words and dilated pupils. Needless to say I did not leave my car there and I took it to a body shop where there was a manager who kept party time away from his place of business. His workers could run that place without him, he should have stayed in bed that day to nurse his hangover.
WORST PLACE ON THE ISLAND – I guess the other reviews are generated by employees because I have had a horrible experience with this auto shop. So bad that I demanded my money back! I took my car in for a cracked bumper and I was forced to pay $1500!!! The original estimate was for $350. When I came to pick up the car, which took 3 weeks btw, he went over the invoice with me charging me for gas, shop supplies and ELECTRICITY!!!! I couldn't believe my ears.
