Made my reservation at 11pm for that night. Paid for it and was confirmed. Tried checking in at 1120 and no one was at the desk or answered the phone. Called their customer service number and was told oh well. We're sorry but no one is answering the phone. I missed check in time and not eligible for a refund. Had to search for another motel in the area and pay for different accommodations. No help in a getting a refund or even talking to anyone. Reserved a room three months before arrival on Expedia. Arrived and was told my room had been canceled. They didn't say by whom but it wasn't me. Called Expedia and they were helpful, noting that the reservation was active on their end. The motel owner would not honor the reservation despite what Expedia and my emails said...she offered me a room at almost twice the price I secured in advance. Horrible Experience! The advertised pool, is not working, nor has it works for 4+ years now! When we got to our first room the toilet in the bathroom was leaking; leaving a large water puddle around the toilet. Our second room, the light switches did not work, there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling, and something sticky and gross all over the leather chair! Cozy, quiet stay with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff, perfectly located right off WI‑21/73, great value for a peaceful stopover in Wautoma and I’d happily stay again.
