I have been a loyal customer for 26 years. Since it has changed hands and the big renovations, the customer service/care is gone. They care more about money than providing care for our pets. When your dog is dying, they refuse to get you in and tell you to just go to emergency vet. Then you go for just a few shots and they want to charge an additional $65 for a 2 minute exam. Wausau Animal Hospital does not value customer service or your pet. Their management cares more about spinning a profit than retaining customers. As a customer for 9 years, I was told that they were dropping my dog as a patient because I asked to speak to a vet over the phone to get some simple advice. The manager, instead of trying to rectify the situation, blamed me for bringing up concerns, and told me to find a different provider. Again....after I gave them my money for 9+ years.
