My son and I were VERY impressed with the ER staff - nurses, orderlies, physician assistants and office staff during our lovely sojourn on Oct 24 - 25. Even waiting in the waiting room was interesting on a Sat night. We spent a total of 8.5 hours there - 3 in the waiting room and the rest in ER room 13 - blood work, 2 liters of saline and more blood work, an ultra sound and a round of 4 antibiotics later we had his diagnosis and he was transferred to a local Salinas hospital for gall bladder surgery.
