Watson's replaced my hot water heater with a new one with a 10 year warrantee in 2006. It rusted and flooded my basement causing damage. When Watson's came out to repair they indicated the model was discontinued and needed to be replaced which was fine as the unit was under warrantee. Watson's proceeded to tell me that the unit was not under warrantee but would not return calls explaining why a ten year warrantee had lapsed in 8.5 years.
