I have been seeing Ilene as needed for a few years. After decades of computer use, my neck and shoulder were in near constant daily pain. Ilene has helped me improve, not just in physical therapy sessions but also in developing better body awareness so that I can head off pain before it begins. She is wonderful and caring and my shoulder and neck have dramatically improved.

Ilene has treated me twice; my neck a few years ago and my back this year. PT is different with Ilene - gentle, hands-on manipulations that ease the pain and instruction on how to do the same myself. She draws on traditional PT, Feldenkrais, Tai Chi, Trager method, and probably other practices to find the best approaches for one’s condition. I recommend her as an alternative to the typical “go over there and do these exercises, I’ll be back” PT approach.
I have been seeing Ilene for a frozen shoulder for about 4 weeks. Just checked in with my doctor. She was thrilled to see that I have regained full range of motion so quickly! Ilene is knowledgeable and gentle and I will definitely return to her for any future PT needs.
