We've stayed at The Watermark Baton Rouge twice now and will definitely be back. I don't usually leave reviews, but the service here is exceptional. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating, and the food and drinks are great. A special shoutout to Bill, who helped with our luggage. He truly makes you feel welcome, and his book on name etymology was such a unique touch. Another wonderful stay.
Left a very expensive item in my room, called immediately and left my information and what room I was in and heard nothing back. Did this twice until I got a hold of them today and no belt. Lack of urgency, lack of caring or trying to help at all. I would suggest getting a tent and sleeping by a swamp and your valuables would be safer.
I have to stay do not stay anywhere near their elevators because they are very loud and will 100% keep you up at night. It also smells like the hotel rooms have been smoked in. There is no fresh smell or ever just something normal. Smell like when a slum load has someone smoke in the house they just paint over the walls to get rid of the smell. I couldn’t recommend this hotel less
