This was our first time here. It was recommended to us by a the bartender who worked at The Pour House, a local bar in O.C. (thanks Melissa!) We both ordered The Original Feast, which consisted of AYCE blue crab, steamed shrimp, chicken and hush puppies. Everything was amazing. We also had the crab soup and lobster chowder, again delicious! As far as the service, our server was John Mark. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! I wish I could give this place 10 stars
5 of us walked in and asked for a table not a booth. The hostess asked us if we preferred the bar or the dining room we said it didn't matter she takes us to the bar area. The barmaid gets a look at her bringing a group into her section rolling her eyes and gives a very disgusted look. Mumbled something to the hostess who mumbled something back. Dinner was awesome. Had the crab leg feast. Sooooo good. Our server Lisa was so polite and friendly. We will be back soon!!
Our first time to visit Waterman's. The food was excellent. Crab soup and crab dip delicious. However the service was horrible! We had two children with us and an infant. The children's food came out after the adults! We waited forever for our waitress to bring additional drinks and ran out of sweetener. Then even though we had asked for 2 checks when she finally came with the check 15 minutes after we finished eating it was 1 check. Lots of problems for 1 waitress.
What a bad experience, after we were seated. The bartender came over to get our drinks then it took about 10 min to take our order. The kids food came out a good while ahead of ours, no drink refills, I didn't get my rolls with my order, and no mallet for the crab in the kids meal. Bartenders are not waiters too. Won't be returning or recommending.
6 of us went for the crab feast. It was awesome! Our server, Julia was the best ever! The service could not have been better. The crabs, shrimp and chicken were as good as it gets. We can't wait to get back!
Wiley was awesome. So glad we sat in his section. He was always one step ahead of our needs. We have been visiting waterman's for years. It has been traditional in my family's vacation to ocean city!!!!
We visited here back in October 2014 - got a dozen jumbo crabs - they were awesome! Wish I was there right now.
Good service, good broiled Imperial Shrimp Stuffed Crab. Also like the stainless steel tables and the laid back atmosphere.
