We visited Waterman Restaurant last night. After 90 minutes we never received our dinner and left. That wasn't the worst part. The 1st table we were seated at was in the middle of the walk way, not part of the dining room. I asked for another table having 2 young children I was afraid of tray falling and at that time a waiter dropped a full tray behind my 18 month old. So far so good!!!
We had relatives from NY who went with us to Waterman's. Food was really good and the service was wonderful. Only issue we had was with the cole-slaw-no dressing! That was a surprise. Also there was very little lighting in the parking area and very few handicapped spots. Other than that every was fine. Shrimp kisses are excellent!
Very good !! Lobster bisque is amazing as well as one of the best salads I've ever eaten. My main course was shrimp fried and bacon wrapped and I can say it was superb.. The service was good and the view at night is beautiful.

My wife and I own property on Jamaica Beach and have not only visited Waterman often but also have referred many folks who were looking for a "nice" place to dine. It was a great day for us when the restaurant was rebuilt after Ike. This past weekend we decided to take a seat at the bar, and noticed something black on the ceiling. I went up to take a closer look at spotted more black around the air conditioning vent. It is obvious there is ductwork inside the ceiling and it is also obvious this is black mold.
