We just love eating at the Waterfront Restaurant every time we are in the area. The chalk board specials are great and the ownership pays attention to "best" food quality. The relaxed environment and friendly hard working staff make it a consistent family favorite. We always feel at home in the casual Florida style setting and there is something for everyone on the menu. Thank you Waterfront Team - you never let us down!

We have been visiting the WATERFRONT for 26++ years. Our visit yesterday was a different experience¿ We arrived about 4:45 pm & left about 6:15pm There were NO other diners ? A very Uncommon experience, the Waterfront is always busy. Asked our waitress, what was up? She said.it was the season & another local bar. We got in our car to drive home, I was talking about it with my friend. Then she said it was weird... what I said ? NO TABLE COVER DRAWINGS 😶 We will try it again...It's always been a GOTO 🍴 🏝 🌅 🌊

Yes, Stephanie, we have slow days! Thursday is our slowest day. A new restaurant opened on the island and a lot of ppl where checking it out. The table drawings, we had to take them down per our new fire marshal. It was a huge bummer for us and the patrons..it was such a part of the place, but in a 100 year old wood building... hanging paper on the wall.. you get the idea. The waiter fell to give us the special of the day discount: buy one entree and get one half off. Our service was rushed. The extra money you paid for the sweet potato fries is not worth it. They were over cooked, too much breading on them that you couldn't taste the sweet potato. The crab cakes were bready..too much bread on them. We left our fries and the waiter never ask if we like to try something else. The slaw was good. The tea would have been alright, if it hadn't been mix with Coke. We gave up ! Sorry you feel that way Carol, our sweet potato fries are fresh sweet potatoes, cut to order... with minimal breading... i cooked your order, I'm the owner. I will check our Tea, which we brew daily... don't know how it got mixed with Coke, but I'll look into it.
