yuck!!! I booked my granddaughter's open house in May. The service was very unprofessional and I didn't receive the menu I paid for. The kitchen manager gave the food reserved for my granddaughter to another party and then wanted me to pay for extra. The waitress discussed my bill with my guests and at one point asked my brother for a $100 after I had paid my bill. This all took place in front of the other customers in the bar area. Avoid at all costs Terribly slow service, avoid this place, waitress finally got the check right on her third try. Orders not right, ignored for extra drinks, said they were 'busy' -but half the tables were empty.
Not impressed - slooooooooow Not impressed at all, after waiting at our table for 30 minutes, the waitress asked if we needed a few minutes to decide. Ha! I've already had 30! So then 20 minutes after I order, they tell me they are out of buns. It's now been an hour, and no sign of my appetizer or drink refills. Never Again! One of the worst dining experiences I've had ever. Took forever to get our "starting" drinks, even the water. 30 minutes before we saw a waitress again to place our orders, then they "ran out" of hamburger sliders (how can you still have hamburgers and other sliders, but not hamburger sliders). They lost one of our orders, we waited 1 hour 40 minutes before getting our meals. A real gem! The Waterfront offers great food, atmosphere and service. They have remodled inside and out. Their three decks overlooking Goguac Lake makes it our favorite spot to enjoy a drink or a meal while listening to entertainment. The best spot in Battle Creek to meet friends for an afternoon or evening out.
Thrilled Patron My husband and I were recently in the Waterfront after quite some time. The restaurant was phenomenal in regards to the food, view atmosphere and service. This has become without doubt Battle Creek's finest restaurant. My husband and I will return time and time again.
Excellent dining! The Waterfront has a spectacular view overlooking Goguac Lake. The food is first rate and they also offer a very nice buffett during the lunch hours. Dinner is the best meal as they do have a great selection of dinners and wines. You can also enjoy great music on Fridays and Saturdays.
Waterfront Restaurant is Great We love the Waterfront Restaurant. The food is great and the atmosphere is sensational. The restaurant is right on the shore of the local lake. You can sit outside and eat on the deck, overlooking the boats. The food is great! Prices are a little high, but the early bird specials really are special.
