UPDATE: 3/12/25 Waterford Place is totally unreachable by phone, and voicemail full. I have emailed Greystar corporate and no response. The collection agency claims the debt is valid, and reported to the credit bureaus despite providing proof of payment. I will be taking next steps. Terrible experience! We applied two weeks in advance, and the entire application process took over two weeks—way too long, that’s ridiculous. Then, just three days before our move-in date, they notified us that our application was rejected because our salary exceeded their maximum qualification. To make matters worse, they never clearly stated that they had an income cap; they only mentioned that there was an income minimum requirement. Waterford Place does not advertise these are income-based apartments, and I wouldn't have applied had I known. I disputed the application fee with my credit card company, and WP challenged it. I did not fight it, so the fees were ultimately remitted back to them. Waterford Place sent me and the other applicant to collections, each for the full amount which is DOUBLE!
