Horrible horrible place to live ! They have roaches bad here. My landlord was Dia, Emma whatever she wants to call herself. My roof caved in my bedroom, kitchen ceiling was cracking bedroom ceiling cracking, living room ceiling was leaking. She hires just about anyone to come and work for her, they don’t clean after themselves, neighbors in the building has keys to every unit and doesn’t work for her. I wish I could give zero stars!! I lived in 8119 and it is roach infested! The landlord is horrible and a complete slum! DO NOT RENT FROM HIM!!!!!! He sends a exterminator out that has 1 spray bottle which looks like water, it does absolutely nothing. Then he wants to say he didn't have roaches before I moved in which is laughable considering the other tenants have been there years and stated they have always had a roach problem. All he wants is your money. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM!!!
I want to specifically review Jim (James). We had a leak in our bathtub faucet and he came out and fixed it. He’s an amazing guy and gave true and great prices.
RUN do not walk but RUN from this complex. It is filled with nothing but INFESTATIONS and SLUMLORDS who just want money but are not willing to actually invest in and take care of these old run down buildings. There are 3 other apartment complexes on Janes Ave. that have been upgraded inside and out that charge the same rent the slumlords of Waterbury want to charge.
