For the same price, you could simply live nearby in a better place. I liked my apartment itself, but management made the building an uncomfortable place to be. The person we worked with at first was very nice, but she left right when we moved in. Her replacement has a very non-customer service attitude and is unnecessary to deal with, just live somewhere else.
