Not very busy for 8 o'clock on a Friday night. So imagine our surprise when my hubby ordered the fish special and his whole plate of food was cold. I ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. Burger was hot, but underdone, fries were cold though. Third time we've stopped here on our way back to Madison, last two times were great. Our waiter, Roberto, was very friendly and apologized for the miss. Kinda surprised the manager didn't stop by after fresh food was send over. Potato pancakes were still cold.
Never disappointed! Delicious burgers, and love the beer. Recently stopped by and had a great pumpkin beer!
When I was younger I used to frequent the downtown location and it was always super. I've been to this location many times over the past two years and every time is just ok. The good - they have a separate gluten-free menu and they are accommodating about substitutions. The bad - the food didn't have much flavor and the service had a lot to be desired. Great wait staff, the grilled blackened chicken taco salad was great which my partner had, but next time I think I will skip the shrimp and lobster roll (should be made more like the east coast style ~ not sure about the slashing the top of a ciabatta roll and stuffing seafood mix in the top it was a bit on the dry side) Live and learn and I will stick to what I know they do well next time. All and all a nice place to stop in and have lunch/dinner and will always pop back to see what's new on the menu.

I had called ahead for reservations, when we came up to the hostess she gave me the impression that she really didn't have a table ready. It was a very special occasion, the hostess knew it, never greeted us. I had to approach a 2nd time to make sure we had a table that was off to the side. Our waitress was very good, she made our visit ok. The food was on a 1-10 scale about a 5. It was our 50th wedding anniversary, the occasion could have been much better at your restaurant.
