This is a dishonest company with a long history of deceitful tactics. If they are willing to do this to get a sale, I can't imagine what it would be like to do business with them. There are plenty of other companies that offer the same services this without resorting to such shady practices. My advice is to STAY AWAY from WaterQuest! I was approached by someone representing WaterQuest who claimed they were tasked with conducting regular quality and safety checks of the residents' water systems. The person made it seem like... read more

Lied about being from the city to inspect my water heater. Asked for documentation, found online that they are in fact neither from the city, commissioned by the city, or endorsed by the city. I would rate zero stars if possible

Business response:

We sincerely regret that this occurred. It is not the position of this company or located anywhere in our training materials to give any indication that we are part of any city, county, or HOA organizations. However, we are aware that this did happen against our intentions and does not excuse nor justify it. We assure you that we have spoken with the individual in question and will continue to hold them accountable while reviewing our protocols with our other agents to ensure that this does not happen again. We appreciate th... read more

BEWARE: Sketchy sales techniques. Bait and switch. A gentleman came to our door in our new construction neighborhood saying he was here to set up a time to do a water test. Being a brand new neighborhood I believed it to be some test from the city. Upon the technician's arrival the next day I realized this was a private company. He was very professional, but it wasn't until about 1/3rd of the way through the test that I realized this was a sales pitch for high-end water softening and purifying equipment. Ok that's fair. **HE... read more

They came to my door, reading my name off some paper, and that they were sponsored by the city to test our water for new home owners and refinances. Sounded like complete BS and so I called the city, who confirmed they did not sponsor any such thing. The guy than sat in front of my home. I informed him that I called the city and confirmed his story was BS and told him to take off. He was rude. Sounds like the company is very shady, as the person flat out lied about his purpose of why he was there. Using public records to try... read more

They claim to be part of a “service” to test the water for new home owners, without saying who they are. They addressed me by name, which was a little unsettling, and wanted to set up an appointment to test the water. The appointment ended up being a sales pitch for 20 minutes. I didn’t like the shady way they were trying to push a water softener on me.

Customer service is a joke, the soap package is also a joke, water softener is fine.

Water quest was fantastic! First they came in and tested my water for free which normally costs. The tests were so eye opening. I had no idea what was in my water, or how the crap in there can make your whole house less efficient. Everyone that I talked to was so nice and I didn't feel pressured at all to buy a water softener (it was the results of the tests that made me want to buy). Ive always thought that water softeners were overpriced and kind of an indulgence, but after they showed me how much sediment was in my water ... read more

Got a knock in my door around 6. The man at the door knew my name , I had just recently moved in less then a month ago. He said he was with the city doing free water tests and he would send a technician over at 8. HE came back at 8 not a technician, with a little kit and told us about how hard our water was, had an hour and a half presentation for him to tell me at the end it's a 4 thousand dollar water softener. He talked me into it. 90 dollars a month. He scheduled to have an installer out at 5 the next day. After thinking... read more

Waterquest was awesome to work with! Very nice sales reps who are willing to find a way to make things work for you. The man who installed the unit was also very friendly! I generally stop by the actual business when it comes to these big decisions to see what type of people they are. These are the nicest people out there! And the water softener and water purification system are amazing! Call Waterquest now if you're looking for a system and let them take care of you!
