BEWARE This business cannot be trusted. In early spring of 2025 I dropped my boat off to have the lower unit impeller pump and shifter replaced. I was quoted labor and "new parts" prices. I was told to "it's ready" but upon inspection, I noticed it had a used shifter that wouldn't engage so I left it there. Within a couple days the owner said he "repaired it". so I paid the balance even though he nearly doubled the original quote and still had not "replaced" with new parts. Outboard owners beware of this guy ! I called James up told him what my issue was , he said bring in ,I had drained all my fuel and put fresh fuel in, took in he seemed like he knew what he was talking about he wanted to do a yearly maintenance on it , figured how much could be a couple of plugs and an impeller so i said okay, a day or 2 later calls says boat is ready go to pick it up and he hands me a $1752 he said if i paid him cash he wouldn't charge me Tax ! pretty upset at this point ! I can't say enough good things about Water Junkies Marine Services! They completely transformed my 2004 Chaparral 204 SSI from a slightly outdated boat into the envy of the lake. Expert boat and engine mechanic. Diagnosed the fuel issue with the Yamaha 150 and took the time to answer all my questions. Does quick work as well, unlike other places where it takes a month+ just to get a diagnosis before another month to do the work. See you on the lake!
James and his staff are excellent boat mechanics and complete high-quality work. James is honest and will not sell you something you don't need. They added a T-top and refinished my boat, making it look new. Would give them more stars if possible.
