This is the second water softener (Sentry II 970) I have purchased from DeWayne at Water Factory Outlet. Our new home is on a well & septic, after having the system in for about a month I was told by both a family member who installs septic systems and also the guy who installed our septic system that you Can Never have a salt system with a septic tank.
