RecommendedLoving this place. We plan on making it a regular.
We just arrived late this afternoon but the cabin is immaculate snd decorated very nicely with an outdoor/fly fishing scheme. The kitchen had everything we need to cook and there is also an outdoor grilling ara and a fire pit. The Watauga flows directly in front of the cabins and the view is gorgeous! We booked 2 guided float trips and the first is early tomorrow morning.
My College Buddy Don Kinser and I Spent 2 days fishing with Brownie and had a blast. The Lodge is an excellent place to stay. Brownie put us on the fish both days even in the Rain one day. Brownie even builds river boats, and we had the super fun pleasure of being in one of his custom river boats. I will be going back. Thanks Brownie for an awesome guide experience.

Had a blast! Came in with no experience and must’ve caught 50 fish over the weekend. The grounds are well taken care of, the rooms and cabins are in great shape and the staff is amazing. The guides did an excellent job showing us the ropes, being patient and giving us the best tips and locations to land the fish. Will definitely be back! I’ve got the bug!
Great trip even though it was �COLD� and snowing! These guys are troopers to take my family fly-fishing in freezing weather during spring break. � We will be back soon �
