I immediately felt comfortable with Maya - I usually do not enjoy acupuncture but Maya is so calming and gentle and gifted that I hardly noticed the needles and was able to relax and let go. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing maya for three years now to address pain related to endometriosis and scoliosis. A year ago I was very very sick and awaiting surgery to treat my endometriosis. Maya took great care of me during that terrible time and was an incredibly important part of my recovery afterwards. She helped me heal. I am so much healthier now and i know a huge part of that is due to Maya.
My recent session with Maya Washizu was more than an acupuncture appointment — I experienced deep healing. She’s the first acupuncturist I’ve seen who combines acupuncture and bodywork. She moves energy with bodywork and acupuncture seamlessly. In my session, my head cleared, moving old thoughts out of storage; my neck relaxed as she created more space between my neck and shoulders; and trauma from a past surgery released. Maya is a rare find! She has perceptive awareness of body, mind, and spirit.
